Don’t Miss the First Gathering of “Theater and Theology” Friday April 24

Do you suffer from FOMO?  We’re here to help!

Every teen can tell you FOMO stands for “Fear Of Missing Out” and if you aren’t at the movies with us this Friday night you’ll miss the first gathering of Theater and Theology.

Purchase your ticket and meet this Friday, April 24th at Regal Medlock Crossing Stadium Theater for the 7:55 showing of the movie True Story.

True Story, starring James Franco, Jonah Hill, and Felicity Jones is a real-life based crime drama focused on the relationship between a dishonest reporter and an accused murderer.  It examines “the malleability of truth.” (Note:  The movie is rated R for language and some disturbing material.)

Immediately following the movie we’ll engage in meaningful discussion at an adjacent restaurant.

Email jody@pleasanthillpc.org if you’d like to receive an email with the details– or just meet us at the movies.  All are welcome!

This is our first Theater and Theology event: Combat FOMO and be able to tell everyone you were there from the genesis of this group!  (pun intended)

Easter Blessings,

Rev. Jody Andrade,

Associate Pastor for Congregational Care, Pleasant Hill Presbyterian Church
