Heart aching to see and experience another part of the world that suffers from the lack of basic needs?
Desire an opportunity to make God’s justice known by standing alongside the poor and oppressed?
Hearing a call to serve others with Christ’s love and to be loved by a people and culture vastly different from your own?
Seeking to connect with the Spirit of mercy and hospitality within a community that strives to make a sustainable living for their village and families?
Then join the Adult International Mission Team for their Fall trip to Guatemala (9-26 to 10-4)!!!!
The mission team–in partnership with the non-profit organization CEDEPCA — will be helping to build a new retaining wall at a birthing clinic in the Guatemalan community of Cahabon as well as paint the inside of the clinic and start a community garden. Clergy and church members from other congregations in the Presbytery of Greater Atlanta will also be a part of the trip.
“During the experience, participants and local communities will learn mutually from each other and discover how God is inviting them to join together to work for transformation in the world.”
