2015-Womens-ConnectionYou yourselves are our letter, written on our hearts, to be known and read by all; and you show that you are a letter of Christ, prepared by us, written not with ink but with the Spirit of the living God, not on tablets of stone but on tablets of human hearts. (2 Corinthians 3:2-3)

The 2015 Women Connection Conference at Montreat is Women coming together in an open and welcoming community to be challenged and inspired, to rest and be renewed, and to discover who God wants us to be.

Diagnosis, divorce, death, depression, anxiety, and grief all prevent us from feeling whole. As women we may ask ourselves, “Does my job think I am enough? Does my family think I am enough? Does society think I am enough?” As daughters of God and disciples of the Christian faith we will gather together at the 2015 Montreat Women’s Connection to remember that God says to us, “You are enough!” We are enough because God has declared us so. We are enough even if our lives our messy. We are enough because in Christ we no longer live under sin, we have new life within. At the Women’s Connection we will proclaim together that, as the Scriptures declare, our competence is from God. Join us as we explore what “You Are Enough” truly means!

This conference offers a time to connect with other women as we deepen our faith. Our time together will include worship, fellowship, recreation, art, singing, workshops, and keynote speakers. Optional workshops will include activities such as hiking, yoga, craft circles, spiritual formation, labyrinth walking, storytelling, grief support, and resource presentations on blogs & books of the faith. Enjoy both time in community and time to be alone. This intergenerational event will include child care, so consider bringing the entire family.
